After 10 years of service, EWPs should be subjected to a comprehensive inspection to assess their structural integrity, mechanical components, and overall condition. This inspection is crucial in identifying potential wear and tear that could compromise safety. Following this initial major inspection, subsequent inspections should be carried out every 5 years.
